The Abandons will take place in Oregon in the 1850s and follow the struggle of Oregon’s locals fighting for their land while powerful and corrupt individuals try to take over and make it their own. Heady will be playing a devoted matriarch named “Fiona.”
Headey is most known for playing the role of Cersei in the iconic HBO series Game of Thrones; Heady also appears in the 2006 blockbuster 300, Dredd, and most recently, voiced Lara in DC’s DC League of Super-Pets.
As for Sutter, aside from running the legendary Sons of Anarchy, he was a producer for the Jake Gyllenhaal boxing film Southpaw, as well as a producer for The Shield and The Bastard Executioner.
Something of note, Sutter is married to beloved sitcom star Katey Segal – who played “Peggy Bundy” on Married…with Children. Aside from being a couple, Sutter and Segal also share a daughter named Esme Louise Sutter.
